HDMI extender adalah alat yang berupa sepasang konverter dengan fungsi membuat kabel LAN UTP cat 5e/6 sebagai pengganti fungsi Kabel HDMI.
Sepasang konverter ini terdiri dari Sender (pengirim) dan Receiver (Penerima).
